About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will lead monthly and annual closing cycles, create and validate accounting entries, oversee reconciliation processes, develop financial packages, analyze accounting matters, coordinate with external auditors, evaluate internal control practices, produce variance explanations, collaborate on budget development, enhance accounting processes, and serve as a resource for internal teams.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in an accounting function.
- Strong command of U.S. GAAP and complete understanding of the full accounting lifecycle.
- Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets (complex formulas, pivots, lookups, etc.).
- Proven analytical capabilities and a structured approach to solving problems.
Preferred:
- Industry experience in FinTech, Technology, SaaS, or related field.
- CPA or CMA certification highly preferred.
- Confident communicator, able to translate financial concepts for non-finance colleagues.
- Familiarity with Workday ERP systems.
- Exposure to IFRS reporting frameworks.
