Summary
Jobot is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Worthington Hills, KY. The role involves ensuring the integrity of accounting information and offers significant opportunities for career progression.
About the Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and recording financial entries, maintaining subsidiary accounts, managing the general ledger, summarizing financial status, completing external audits, and implementing process improvements. You will also assist with budget preparation and perform ad-hoc analysis.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial planning software.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
- Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
- Proven experience with financial statement preparation and general ledger functions.
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
