MED-EL Corporation is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst to join their team in Durham, NC. The role involves collaborating with the accounting team to evaluate, interpret, and optimize financial data, supporting the preparation of key financial reports.

About the Role

As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you will work closely with the Accounting Manager to prepare profit and loss statements, budget analyses, and accounts receivable/payable KPIs. You will audit business transactions for compliance, identify process improvements, and manage various accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or related business field and 4 years of direct work experience, or a combination of associate's degree and over 5 years related work experience.
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

Healthcare industry work experience.
Experience with various reporting tools.
Strong technical ability related to ERP systems, Microsoft Office suite/Power BI, and expense reporting software.
