About the Role
As a Senior Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of advanced technical accounting tasks including the preparation and maintenance of financial records, compliance monitoring for contracts and grants, and the reconciliation of complex accounts. You will also assist in the development of financial reports and provide support for fiscal compliance issues.
About You
Required:
- Graduation from high school and five years of accounting or reconciliation experience, or an associate's degree and 3 years of clerical or accounting experience.
- Knowledge of financial and accounting document processing, applicable laws, and general accounting practices.
Preferred:
- Experience with automated enterprise application systems or emerging technologies related to accounting.
- Ability to train and provide guidance to others.
