About the Role
As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you will perform core actuarial consulting work, including reserve reviews, pricing analyses, and developing predictive models. You will evaluate clients' reserving and modeling approaches, requiring strong programming skills, preferably in R. The position offers a chance to take direct responsibility for client work and requires critical thinking to solve business problems.
About You
Required:
- Completed bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, data science, statistics, or other quantitative major.
- Must have passed the following five actuarial exams: P, FM, MAS-I, MAS-II, and Exam 5.
- 5-10 years of professional actuarial experience, including substantial reserving and predictive modeling experience.
Preferred:
- Strong knowledge of traditional actuarial and predictive modeling methodologies.
- Familiarity with advanced techniques such as regularized regression, GAMs, GLMMs, tree-based methods, and Bayesian approaches.
- Strong technical and programming skills in R, SAS, SQL, or other programming languages.
