Ciena is seeking a Senior Advisor, Product Line Management to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves collaborating on the creation of the IP Software Roadmap and leading technical direction for key customer accounts within the IP Routing domain.
About the Role
As a Senior Advisor, Product Line Management, you will report to the Senior Director of SAOS 10.x PLM and facilitate agreements on IP product development direction. You will act as a subject matter expert, provide thought leadership, and participate in PLM-related release management activities. Your responsibilities will include leading overall technical direction for key customer accounts and driving new product introductions.
About You
Required:
- Minimum BS in engineering with a concentration in telecommunications, networking, or communications systems, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience within the IP Routing domain, including at least 5 years of significant product line management experience.
Preferred:
- MBA desired.
- Strong product background in carrier grade IP routing, including IP Routing/Switching protocols (ISIS, OSPF, BGP, Multicast).
- Experience with MPLS, Segment Routing, and various network architecture models.
