Summary

Intuit is seeking a Senior AI Scientist to join their Content Safety Team in Nipomo, CA. The role focuses on developing content moderation solutions for user-generated and AI-generated content across all Intuit products.

About the Role

As a Senior AI Scientist, you will be responsible for developing and refining content moderation models to filter and tackle abusive content. You will work extensively with NLP algorithms, fine-tuning transformers and large language models (LLMs), and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure models align with ethical standards. Your role will also involve mentoring junior AI scientists and staying updated with the latest research in AI and machine learning.

About You

Required:

MSc or PhD in a computational or statistical field (Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Econometrics, Operations Research).
4+ years’ Data Science experience in the tech industry.
Experience working on one of the cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.
Proficiency in Data Science languages, tools, and frameworks, including Python, R, SQL, SKLearn, NumPy, Pandas, TensorFlow, Keras.
Strong mentoring skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical people.

Preferred:

Familiarity with LLM based applications.
Familiarity with LLM security and safety aspects.
Resourceful, motivated, and organized.
