Summary
The Amatriot Group is seeking a Senior Application Administrator to join their team in a fully remote capacity. The role involves the design, deployment, and support of middleware technologies that facilitate communication between applications.
About the Role
As a Senior Application Administrator, you will administer, configure, and maintain middleware platforms across various environments. Your responsibilities will include supporting patching and upgrades, leading troubleshooting efforts, monitoring system performance, and contributing to documentation and project planning. You will also manage security configurations and participate in disaster recovery planning.
About You
Required:
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with JBoss and Apache servers.
- Strong background in managing application infrastructure in a Microsoft Windows environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred:
- Experience with Apache Tomcat & JBoss patching, maintenance, and deployment.
- Experience in deployment and integration of COTS products and ETL solutions.
- Experience developing and maintaining Single Sign On (SSO) and Two Factor Authentication (TFA) solutions.
- Knowledge of web and object-oriented programming languages: JavaScript, JAVA, HTML, XML, PERL, web services, IIS, ASP.NET.
- Knowledge and experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Perl.
- Experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Hyper-V.
