Summary
WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Senior Architect to join their team in Boston, MA. The role involves providing local leadership in technical excellence for the design, conceptual development, and construction of building projects in the public and private sector.
About the Role
As a Senior Architect, you will direct, facilitate, and support multidisciplinary project teams through all phases of project development. You will work closely with engineering design teams and project managers, provide technical project leadership, and manage staff development. Your responsibilities will include ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards, strengthening client relationships, and remaining current in architectural techniques and practices.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, or closely related discipline.
- Registered Architect in the US.
- 10+ years of architecture and design experience with a strong background designing multiple building typologies of varying scale.
- Previous work with industrial, manufacturing, and/or public sector projects.
- Strong knowledge of design, industry advancements, construction methodology, and sustainable design practices.
- Effective technical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent leadership, collaboration, and team-building skills.
Preferred:
- NCARB certificate holder.
- Degree from an NAAB accredited program.
- LEED and/or WELL Accredited Professional.
- State and local government experience.
- Industrial campus master planning and project programming experience.
- BIM experience.
