Summary
IQ-EQ is seeking a Senior Associate – Private Equity Fund Accounting to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves working directly with leading private equity and hedge fund firms to facilitate service offerings in fund accounting.
About the Role
As a Senior Associate, you will support IQEQ client leads across multiple Private Equity funds, collaborate with your manager and team to meet client expectations, apply your understanding of limited partnership agreements to financial reporting, prepare and review key financial tasks, manage audits, and assist with onboarding new team members.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with at least a 3.0 GPA.
- Over 3 years of experience in Private Equity or a related industry.
- Strong accounting knowledge and advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and preferably Investran.
- Ability to deliver exceptional client service and maintain effective communication.
- Ability to collaborate in team environments and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
Preferred:
- Experience with financial reporting, allocations, and compliance.
- Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
