About the Role
About You
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in public accounting or related fields
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting standards (FASB), SEC regulations, or governmental accounting standards (GASB)
- Prior experience with audit, accounting, and/or consulting standards
- Ability to navigate SEC filings and Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFRs)
- Strong organizational skills and effective communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to travel up to 40% as needed
- Licensed CPA
- Experience with SEC Filings or GFOA’s ACFR Special Review Process
- Experience with financial statement close process
- Ability to troubleshoot account reconciliation issues
- Strong ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments
- Team player with solid organizational skills
- Comfortable in a hybrid work environment
