BioSpace is seeking a Senior Automation System Administrator to join their team in Menands, NY. The role involves administration of automated/computerized system software and firmware to meet cGMP and policy requirements.
About the Role
As a Senior Automation System Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining software configuration for biopharmaceutical processes, monitoring, and testing systems. Your daily tasks will include administering system applications, monitoring data backups, authoring technical documents, supporting validation efforts, conducting system integration, and providing end-user support. You will also lead investigations for non-compliance issues and guide contractors as needed.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in automation system administration.
- BS/BA in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred:
- Experience with Ignition, MQTT brokers, HiveMQ, or similar platforms.
- Solid understanding of System Design Lifecycle and Quality Risk Management.
