About the Role
As a Senior Aviation Delivery Manager, you will lead and manage the design process for major aviation projects, ensuring compliance with FAA standards and client requirements. You will develop design strategies, oversee project budgets, and drive business development efforts while collaborating with regional and national leadership. Your responsibilities will also include proposal development, client engagement, and mentoring technical staff.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Expert knowledge of FAA design standards and aviation-specific criteria.
- 12+ years of relevant post-education experience in civil engineering focused on aviation infrastructure.
- Proven ability to lead complex design projects and manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong business development acumen with a track record of winning large-scale aviation projects.
- Established relationships with key aviation clients.
- Experience in proposal management and strategic growth planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledgeable of current technology in aviation design and project delivery.
- Experience in construction administration.
Preferred:
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience leading national or large-scale aviation programs.
- Familiarity with alternative project delivery methods (e.g., P3, CMAR, Design-Build).
- Active participation in industry organizations such as AAAE, ACC, or ACI-NA.
