About the Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, Content Security & Trust, you will lead the design, implementation, and scaling of security solutions for content ingestion, storage, distribution, and access control. You will apply security best practices, collaborate across teams, improve content safety, influence content security strategy, and mentor junior engineers.
About You
Required:
- 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with expertise in backend systems and content or application security.
- Hands-on experience with content encryption, DRM systems, secure API design, and authentication methods.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, including Lambda, SQS/SNS, S3.
- Proficiency in one or more server-side programming languages (Ruby, Go, Python).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to design scalable, high-performance solutions.
- Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred:
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices architectures, and database design.
- Mentoring experience with junior engineers.
- Ability to thrive in collaborative team environments.
