About the Role
As a Senior Backend Engineer on the New Products team, you will be responsible for developing impactful technology that transforms the personal injury industry. You will work in a small, collaborative team, shipping production code quickly and contributing to the foundational blocks of EvenUp's software. The role includes working with a tech stack that involves Python, Typescript, React, Postgres, Kubernetes, and Elasticsearch, while also having opportunities to learn and work on machine learning and data engineering projects.
About You
Required:
- 5-10+ years of experience with backend or frontend engineering, working with relational databases and/or other database technologies.
- Several years of industry experience building high-quality software and shipping production-ready code.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas in easy-to-understand terms.
- Experience owning a project from start to finish.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated success in mentoring and upleveling teammates.
- Kubernetes experience.
