About the Role
As a Senior Battery Materials Engineer, you will lead the design and continuous optimization of lithium-metal anode fabrication processes, integrate cathode materials into cell platforms, develop prelithiation strategies, and drive cell manufacturing process development. You will also build statistical process control systems, troubleshoot materials and cell failures, collaborate with R&D and operations teams, and contribute to IP generation.
About You
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in Li-ion battery, battery materials, electrolytes synthesis, electrochemistry.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field.
Preferred:
- Master's or PhD in a relevant field.
- Experience working in Li-ion pilot/production scale facility.
- Deep understanding of electrochemistry.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, and other programming languages.
