About the Role
As a Senior Biomechanist, you will inspect and measure vehicles, provide expert testimony at legal proceedings, use computer models for accident reconstruction, and analyze crash sequences to identify contributing factors. You will also evaluate the effects of impact forces on occupants, perform accident reconstructions, and utilize engineering principles to calculate collision factors. The role requires familiarity with legal depositions and working with external clientele such as lawyers and insurance adjusters.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in biomechanics, accident reconstruction, and premises liability work.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
- Must hold a valid PE license, PhD, SAE certification or ACTAR certification.
Preferred:
- Master of Science or PhD in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
- Expert testimony experience.
- Experience with CAD related to accident reconstruction.
