WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Senior Bridge/Structural Engineer to join their team in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves providing technical assistance and guidance for infrastructure projects, focusing on the design and construction of load-bearing structures.
About the Role
As a Senior Bridge/Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for performing technical assignments, developing schedules, preparing design calculations, reviewing submittals, and ensuring quality control standards. You will also propose creative solutions to complex problems, develop project objectives, and provide guidance to junior engineers while interacting with clients and regulatory agencies.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, or closely related discipline.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience in engineering discipline and prior structural or civil design experience.
- Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) Certification having completed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
- Experience with industry design standards such as AASHTO, ACI, AISC, ASCE.
- Proficient knowledge of structural engineering principles and practices.
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering.
- Essential Professional Licensure/Certification (PE).
- Experience working with ADOT and other Arizona local agency projects.
- Basic CADD skills using MicroStation/OpenRoads.
