Summary
AppWorks is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves serving as a liaison between business partners and the development team to provide technical solutions that meet user needs.
About the Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, developing use cases and functional specifications, conducting user acceptance testing, and participating in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). You will also create and maintain workflow charts and ensure alignment between technical and business users.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience on data integration projects.
- 2+ years of experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and UAT.
- Experience defining API service calls (request/response formats).
- Ability to create and explain data flow diagrams and system integration concepts.
Preferred:
- Experience with Lucidchart and JIRA.
- Prior experience in state or local government, especially in the Georgia Criminal Justice System.
- Project Management certification (PMP) or ITIL Foundation certification.
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
