Summary
Charles Schwab is seeking a Senior Business Development Proposal Writer to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves developing and delivering responses to proposal requests for retirement plan products and services.
About the Role
As a Senior Business Development Proposal Writer, you will be responsible for managing the proposal process from receipt of RFPs to delivery, ensuring high-quality responses to consultants and prospects. You will coordinate information gathering from various sources and work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to produce proposals in a deadline-driven environment.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of relevant financial services experience in retirement plan administration or recordkeeping services; or stock plan administration.
- 3+ years of experience in proposal writing and/or business communications.
- Proven ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Strong business communication skills and command of the English language including grammar, sentence structure, and proofreading ability.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-demand, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with industry standard proposal management tools (QVidian, RPAG, RFP Director, RFP360, Catapult, etc.).
- Ability to self-manage project details and work with different management levels within the organization.
- Ability to operate independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail is imperative.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills with demonstrated experience in managing multiple, deadline-driven projects.
- Ability to quickly learn and gain in-depth understanding of existing and new products and services.
- Excellent Microsoft suite skills.
Preferred:
- 5+ years of experience in proposal writing and/or business communications.
- Experience working with AI software.
- Bachelor’s degree.
