Summary
Stellantis is seeking a Senior Buyer - Software to join their team in Auburn Hills, MI. The role involves leading the development and execution of long-term commodity strategies for procuring technical commodities supporting the IT department.
About the Role
As a Senior Buyer - Software, you will be responsible for driving cross-functional commodity strategies, developing creative solutions to complex challenges, sourcing suppliers, managing contracts, and leading supplier development. You will interface with internal and external stakeholders and manage key supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of quality products.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Business, Supply Chain Management, IT, Finance, Marketing, Economics, International Business, Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Engineering, or equivalent from an AACSB accredited program.
- 8 years of relevant purchasing experience or significant negotiation/exposure to sourcing processes.
- Strong negotiation skills and strategic thinking.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and commodity leadership skills.
- Well organized, self-motivated, and resourceful in managing complex situations.
- Ability to interface effectively with cross-functional teams and senior management.
- Strong use of MS Office Suite/G Suite.
Preferred:
- Experience in the IT space and knowledge of IT software/services.
- 1 year of exposure to technical projects in the infotainment, connectivity, or software space.
