As a Senior Chartering Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with ship owners, charterers, and brokers. Your daily tasks will include monitoring shipping market trends, preparing charter parties, coordinating with operations and legal teams, and providing regular reporting on chartering activities. You will also represent the company at industry events and ensure compliance with maritime regulations.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in chartering (dry bulk, tanker, or relevant segment).
- In-depth knowledge of the shipping markets, Incoterms, and charter parties.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in MS Office and chartering platforms.
