About the Role
As a Senior Claim Representative/Consultant, you will be responsible for managing medium to high exposure accounts, providing proactive communication to customers, reviewing complex policies, conducting investigations, managing litigation, and developing assessments and recommendations. You will also engage in negotiations and maintain claims metrics.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree preferred; J.D. or CRIS designation is a plus.
- 3+ years general liability claim handling experience, with a preference for construction defect claim handling experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to present in a roundtable setting with a well-reasoned and analytical evaluation.
- Strong customer service and active listening skills.
- Strong time management and organization skills.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Working proficiency with MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
Preferred:
- Active Property & Casualty State Insurance Adjuster license.
- Experience in handling affirmative/defensive risk transfer.
