Ebara Elliott Energy is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to join their team in Jeannette, PA. The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining a global, hybrid Windows and Cloud infrastructure.
About the Role
As a Senior Cloud Architect, you will bridge high-level architectural design with hands-on engineering to ensure a secure, scalable, and cost-optimized global environment. Your responsibilities will include creating global blueprints for Windows Server environments, overseeing hybrid management, and managing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for high availability. You will also enforce security standards, design resilient architectures, and automate provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering with a primary focus on cloud infrastructure, Azure, and virtualized environments.
- Expert in Windows server management, operating systems, security, and performance optimization.
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware environments and migration strategies to Azure and AWS.
- Experience with Hybrid Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra.
Preferred:
- Proficiency in managing Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for high availability and remote performance.
- Strong scripting and automation skills for system administration (PowerShell, VB Scripting, C++, or Java).
- Knowledge of system/software quality assurance methodologies and applicable data privacy laws.
