About the Role
About You
- National Certification from American Academy of Professional Coders upon hire or equivalent certification from American Health Information Management Association.
- 1 year of CPT and ICD-10-CM acute care hospital coding experience.
- Associate's Degree in Medical Record Technology.
- Completion of a certified coding program with training in anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, disease processes, and pharmacology.
- 3 years of inpatient coding experience in an acute care setting.
- Experience in other clinical or healthcare disciplines.
