About the Role
As a Senior Commercial Underwriter, you will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing commercial real estate title commitments, underwriting complex transactions, collaborating with escrow officers and attorneys, and providing guidance on title policies. You will also interpret regulations, draft title commitments, and support business development while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial title underwriting, preferably within a title insurance company or law firm.
- Strong knowledge of Texas real estate laws, title insurance regulations, and ALTA/CLTA guidelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and risk-assessment skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, real estate, or related field.
- Law Degree.
- Proficiency in title/escrow software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
