About the Role
As a Senior Conflicts Attorney, you will act as in-house counsel, providing legal advice regarding outside counsel guidelines (OCGs) and related processes. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and negotiating OCGs, collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance, responding to client audits, and conducting analyses of complex legal issues affecting the firm. You will also streamline OCG review processes and maintain organized records of executed OCGs.
About You
Required:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing with the New York Bar.
- At least 4-5 years practicing as a transactional attorney.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Proven project management capabilities.
- Excellent judgment and discretion in handling confidential matters.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with data security laws.
- Proficiency in legal research and document management systems.
- Eagerness to learn about new legal areas and changes in law.
