Summary
WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Senior Consultant–Electronics Life Cycle Assessment to join their Sustainability, Energy and Climate Change division. The role involves leading client-facing teams in the design, management, and reporting of sustainability programs in the electronics and technology sectors, focusing on Life Cycle Assessments (LCA).
About the Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will lead the delivery of electronics LCA projects from start to finish, including researching life cycle inventory data, performing quality assurance, and developing product life cycle assessments. You will produce reports and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs), and support business development activities while adhering to WSP's Code of Conduct.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, energy, sustainability, or environmental discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in product sustainability and LCA consulting in the electronics and technology business sectors.
- Experience with developing ISO 14040 and ISO 14044 conformant LCA reports.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree in engineering, energy, sustainability, or environmental discipline.
- Experience using LCA software and methodologies (e.g., LCA for Experts, SimaPro, openLCA).
- Experience with ISO standards relevant to LCA.
- Familiarity with emerging circularity standards and water footprinting methodologies.
