Qvest US is seeking a Senior Consultant - Data & Analytics to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves participating in projects that drive better data-based decision making for clients, focusing on strategy, data management, reporting, and visualization.
About the Role
As a Senior Consultant in Data & Analytics, you will engage in all core project phases, including setup, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. You will perform hands-on development using SQL and Python, create data visualizations in tools like Tableau and Power BI, and design data models in platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks. Your responsibilities will also include leading client meetings, articulating complex business challenges, identifying risks, and building strong client relationships.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years of Project Management, Process, Implementation, and SDLC experience in an Agile environment.
- 5+ years in a consulting or data-focused role with strong SQL experience in platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, or similar.
- Experience designing and building relational databases or data warehouses.
- Hands-on experience with business-driven/self-service BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Preferred:
- Experience in Media & Entertainment and/or Consumer Products industries.
- Experience at a large consulting firm (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, EY).
- Cloud computing experience with AWS or other vendors.
- Ability to automate data-related tasks using scripts and programming languages.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or related fields.
