FTI Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant, M&A and Activism Communications to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves engaging with clients on M&A, activism defense, and governance communications.
About the Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will be a key team member on client engagements related to M&A, IPOs, spin-offs, and activism defense. You will collaborate across practices, support new business development, and contribute to the marketing and development of the practice. Your responsibilities will include writing key documents, engaging with analysts and investors, conducting research, and supporting the execution of multi-disciplinary communications programs.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of relevant post-graduate professional experience
- Ability to travel to clients and to FTI office(s) as needed
Preferred:
- Agency background with a focus on capital markets, corporate communications or investor relations
- Excellent written and oral presentation skills
- Proven advanced writing skills, particularly with complex documents
- Analytical skills to identify and diagnose key issues impacting a company's perception
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient skills in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
