Guidepoint is seeking a Senior Content Specialist to join their Marketing team in New York City. The role involves owning the strategy and development of content across various channels to support brand positioning and engagement.
About the Role
As a Senior Content Specialist, you will be responsible for executing content strategies across long-form, website, and social media channels. Your tasks will include writing, editing, and publishing high-impact content, managing the editorial process, optimizing website content, and tracking content performance using analytics. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and marketing teams to ensure content consistency and effectiveness.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in B2B content marketing, social media, or a related communications role.
- Proven experience writing and editing long-form, web, and social content for professional audiences.
- Strong copywriting skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Mastery of LinkedIn and Twitter, with knowledge of WordPress and Meltwater being a plus.
- Experience managing content through structured review and approval processes.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting multi-channel marketing campaigns with an understanding of engagement and analytics.
- Background in professional services, research, financial services, or similarly complex industries.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic, hands-on environment.
