Summary
Semtech is seeking a Senior Corporate Paralegal to join their team in San Diego, CA (Hybrid) or US Remote. The role involves providing legal support primarily focused on contracts, intellectual property, and proxy work.
About the Role
As a Senior Corporate Paralegal, you will assist the in-house legal team with various tasks including managing patent and trademark portfolios, supporting contract administration, and aiding in corporate governance activities. Your responsibilities will also include providing administrative support to the legal team and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
About You
Required:
- Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved or accredited program, OR Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies, OR equivalent relevant experience.
- 7-15 years of paralegal experience, preferably with exposure to contracts, IP, or proxy work.
- Experience with legal research and document preparation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in any field.
- Exposure to technology or semiconductor industry legal matters.
- Experience with patent and trademark prosecution.
- Experience with proxy solicitation or shareholder communications.
- Familiarity with contract management software.
