You will be responsible for taking depositions, arguing motions, and managing complex litigation independently. The position offers a clear partnership track and emphasizes work-life balance with approximately 1,800 billable hours annually.
About You
Required:
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- 8+ years of substantial litigation experience.
- Demonstrated trial experience and courtroom proficiency.
- Proven ability to independently manage complex commercial litigation matters from start to finish.
Preferred:
- Big law or similarly sophisticated firm background.
- Extensive e-discovery experience, including platform expertise and large-scale document management.
- Experience with real estate disputes.
- Strong motion writing background, including successful dispositive motions.
- Substantial deposition experience, both taking and defending.
