Vanguard is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Lead to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves driving data-informed decision-making across the organization and transforming complex data into actionable insights.
About the Role
As a Senior Data Analytics Lead, you will develop and execute the enterprise-wide business intelligence strategy, champion data storytelling, design intuitive dashboards, translate data into actionable recommendations, and serve as the primary BI partner for executive leaders. You will ensure data accuracy and collaborate with data engineering teams to maintain high data quality standards.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data strategy roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience in the financial services industry or a similarly data-intensive environment.
- Expert-level proficiency with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and data storytelling techniques.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and SQL.
- Proven track record of driving business performance through data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, especially at the executive level.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Data Analytics, etc.).
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with statistical analysis, Python/R, or machine learning concepts.
