CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Data Center Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Livingston, NJ. The role involves supporting the design and delivery of innovative mechanical solutions for their growing data center portfolio.
About the Role
As a Senior Data Center Mechanical Engineer, you will act as a subject matter expert on mechanical design, manage the mechanical design process, review design drawings, shape long-term cooling strategies, support commissioning activities, and collaborate with various teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
5–7+ years of mechanical design experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities.
Strong knowledge of chilled-water and air-cooled systems, liquid cooling solutions, and redundant piping configurations.
Familiarity with controls/BAS systems and the ability to develop sequences of operation.
Preferred:
Professional Engineering license.
Experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling and energy analysis.
Professional certifications (Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, BICSI, or similar).
