About the Role
As a Senior Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with data center policies, providing guidance to other technicians, completing assigned tickets efficiently, and maintaining expertise in the interactions between network, server, and storage equipment. You will also participate in safety training, manage service delivery, and apply advanced diagnostics to minimize customer disruption.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent and basic knowledge of computer hardware and components AND 2+ years experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including non-standard business hours.
Preferred:
- Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field and/or equivalent work experience AND 5+ years experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
- 2+ years experience working in a production, mission-critical 24x7x365 datacenter environment.
