About the Role
As a Sr. Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing statistical and machine learning models using SAS or R, managing clinical data, writing ETL processes in SQL Server, and creating compelling data-driven presentations using Power BI or Tableau. The role is 99% remote, with on-site requirements for training and staff meetings.
About You
Required:
- MS in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Math or related field with 6+ years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience in developing statistical and machine learning models related to clinical studies using SAS or R.
- In-depth understanding of statistical techniques and methodologies, including hypothesis testing and A/B testing.
- Experience with SQL Server 2008/2014/2016 and writing/modifying complex queries.
- Proven experience in clinical data management best practices.
- Experience in writing ETL processes in SQL Server.
- Expertise in data-driven storytelling and creating presentations with Power BI or Tableau.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Ralph Kimball data modeling approach of data warehouse.
- Experience in FDA regulated drug or healthcare companies.
