Summary
Dun & Bradstreet is seeking a Senior Desktop Support Technician to join their team in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves providing quality desktop support service for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
About the Role
As a Senior Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex problems on desktop, laptop, and cloud-based virtual systems both remotely and onsite. Your daily tasks will include coordinating repairs, maintaining hardware and software inventory, leading large projects, and providing training and guidance to team members. You will also ensure compliance with IT policies and participate in audits.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of PC support in a medium or large corporate environment.
- Excellent customer service skills both in person and over the phone.
- Strong skills in the installation and configuration of current industry operating systems, software & utilities including Windows and Office.
- Solid PC hardware skills including installation, repair, and configuration.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds (23Kg) to move and install PC equipment.
Preferred:
- Hardware & Software Certifications in current technologies such as Microsoft, HP, Apple.
- Experience in the administration of user accounts and properties.
- Advanced support experience of mobile devices like phones and tablets.
