Summary
Hearst Health is seeking a Senior DevOps Developer to join their team in Guilford, CT. The role involves supporting hosting solutions for MarketProminence™ clients and managing build automation processes in cloud environments.
About the Role
As a Senior DevOps Developer, you will collaborate with development teams and the infrastructure group to design, build, document, and test solutions for data interchange and business process automation. Your responsibilities will include implementing automation solutions using Ansible and Python, developing Ansible playbooks for CI/CD pipelines, and enhancing data processing engines. You will also manage deployment processes, maintain technical documentation, and participate in process improvement initiatives.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Ansible development with strong expertise in playbook development and automation workflows.
- Proven experience with build automation tools, particularly Jenkins.
- Proficiency in Python and shell scripting, with experience in data and workflow automation.
- Experience administering software solutions in AWS or OCI environments.
Preferred:
- Experience managing Kubernetes clusters and deploying containerized applications using Docker.
- Familiarity with GitHub Actions for automation and CI/CD processes.
- Knowledge of Oracle, SQL, and database administration.
- Familiarity with change control and issue tracking tools, preferably using the Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence).
