Summary
Obsidian Security is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their team in Palo Alto, CA. The role involves building and maintaining data infrastructure in AWS and GCP for their SaaS security platform.
About the Role
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining data infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC). You will tackle challenges related to scalability, stability, and visibility while working with various technologies including AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and more. Collaboration with engineering and InfoSec teams is essential for capacity planning, performance tuning, and addressing production security issues.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of Data Ops working experience in AWS/GCP.
- Proven ability to design, build, and maintain major infrastructure components in AWS/GCP.
- Computer science or related engineering degree.
- Expert in AWS/GCP VPC, firewall, Kubernetes, vault, Terraform, Ansible, helm charts.
Preferred:
- Experience with Databricks, Dagster, Airflow, ElasticSearch, Cassandra.
- Experience automating processes with IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with Prometheus.
