Generate:Biomedicines is seeking a Senior Director, Clinical Development (COPD) to lead clinical development and medical monitoring for their late-stage COPD program in Somerville, MA.
About the Role
As the Senior Director, you will lead the Clinical Development Team to deliver Phase 3 COPD studies, provide medical leadership for late-stage clinical trials, author clinical protocols, perform medical monitoring, and ensure safety oversight and data integrity. You will also guide the development of clinical strategies and represent the company at scientific and regulatory meetings.
About You
Required:
- MD degree.
- 8+ years of clinical development experience in biopharma.
- Significant expertise in COPD clinical trial design and respiratory therapeutics.
- Experience with global late-stage studies and regulatory engagement.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Board certification in Pulmonology or Allergy & Immunology.
- Experience in both biotech and large pharma environments.
- Familiarity with global regulatory processes (FDA, EMA).
- Experience with successful late-stage submissions (e.g., BLA, MAA).
