About the Role
As a Senior Director EIDP & Infection Prevention, you will be responsible for assessing and identifying risks, researching current literature, developing and implementing prevention strategies, conducting surveillance, and collaborating with various departments. Your work will focus on enhancing infection control methodologies and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 7 years experience as an infection preventionist with demonstrated ability in design, implementation and sustainment of performance improvement activities in a health care setting.
- In-depth knowledge of current trends and best practices in epidemiology and infection prevention.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC).
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive leadership and management experience in an academic medical center, public health or a large, integrated, tertiary health care setting.
Preferred:
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Public Health, Epidemiology or other public health related field.
- Current valid California RN license or related healthcare discipline.
