About the Role
As the Senior Director of Clinical Documentation Improvement, you will oversee clinical documentation improvement initiatives, develop and implement system-wide strategies, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate documentation. You will also serve as a subject matter expert, maintain knowledge of regulations, and ensure effective communication with leadership on strategic planning.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree required.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- A minimum of five (5) years Clinical Documentation Improvement experience.
- A minimum of four (4) years executive level experience leading a multi-system team.
Preferred:
- Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) and/or Certified Documentation Integrity Practitioner (CDIP) preferred.
