About the Role
As the Senior Director, UX, Emerging Experience and Community, you will be responsible for driving a user-centered strategic vision, influencing cross-functional partners, and ensuring high-quality user experiences for YouTube creators and viewers. You will lead the next generation of AI-powered creation tools and work with product and engineering partners to set priorities and roadmaps for product growth.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or 12 years of experience in a senior role creating strategy and designing products.
- 15 years of experience leading UX teams or design portfolios.
- Experience managing and growing cross-discipline UX organizations, including senior managers and their teams.
Preferred:
- Experience managing distributed teams and the ability to grow strong teams and leaders.
- Understanding of roles, methods, processes and best practices for user-centered design.
- Proven ability to work in a rapidly-changing industry and manage ambiguity while minimizing uncertainty.
- Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration, partnerships, and leadership within a matrixed organization.
- Expertise or interest in short-form video and Gen AI creation.
