Summary
ProAmpac is seeking a Senior EHS Specialist to join their team at the Westfield, MA Production Site. The role focuses on implementing safety and environmental policies and ensuring compliance with EHS regulations.
About the Role
As a Senior EHS Specialist, you will design and implement safety and environmental policies, facilitate EHS training programs, conduct audits and inspections, manage regulatory visits, and develop safety strategies to prevent accidents. You will also manage workers' compensation cases and promote a culture of continuous improvement in EHS performance.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of EHS regulations including Tier II, SPCC, Air Regulations, and Hazardous Waste.
Preferred:
- Certifications such as Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Certified Safety Professional (ASP/CSP), or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
- Experience in developing safety strategies and conducting risk assessments.
