WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Senior Electrical CAD Designer to join their multidisciplinary Process Infrastructure and Design team in Phoenix, Arizona, or Salt Lake City, Utah. The role involves executing electrical engineering designs and collaborating on various projects in Environmental Infrastructure facilities.
About the Role
As a Senior Electrical CAD Designer, you will effectively execute electrical engineering designs from concept to completion, develop and coordinate electrical models, prepare detailed design documents, perform sizing calculations, and ensure compliance with electrical codes and industry standards. You will work independently and as part of a cross-discipline team, utilizing tools like AutoCAD, REVIT, and Navisworks to deliver high-quality designs.
About You
Required:
- Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 9+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in the use of 2D and 3D AutoCAD and Microstation.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and/or Plant3D.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Expertise in lighting design tools such as DIALux and Agi32.
- Sound design and 3D modeling skills for Industrial/Mining plant layout.
- Excellent computer skills such as MS Word, Excel, and Projects.
