About the Role
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will lead the design and development of the electrical control unit (ECU) for next-generation sensing and control systems. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing and validating electrical circuits, performing schematic capture and PCB layout, developing firmware, and mentoring junior engineers.
About You
Required:
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive ECU design.
- Proven record of delivering automotive-grade products into mass production.
- Strong fundamentals in power electronics, high-speed design, computer architecture, analog, and mixed-signal systems.
- Experience designing and validating high-speed signaling interfaces such as Ethernet, DDR memory, PCIe, and SerDes.
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium).
- Strong hands-on lab skills and familiarity with test equipment and best practices.
- Knowledge of automotive EMC compliance.
- Understanding of automotive functional safety and control-unit-level safety integration.
