About the Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will participate in walk-downs, generate sketches, develop conceptual designs, evaluate existing systems, and review functional requirement documents. You will prepare and check calculations, devise practical solutions, coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines, and serve as a Subject Matter Expert. Additionally, you will develop specifications, evaluate bids, mentor less experienced staff, and ensure compliance with laws and MSTS policies.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering program accredited by ABET or a Calculus-based STEM bachelor's degree in engineering.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience demonstrating technical specialization or cross-disciplinary knowledge.
- Knowledge of industry standard software and computer-aided drafting applications.
- Ability to interpret codes and standards applicable to the position.
Preferred:
- Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer.
- Experience in project management and team leadership.
