About the Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing data related to substation components, reviewing third-party design documents, and performing complex electrical engineering work. Your tasks will include developing electrical calculations, preparing plans and specifications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute project work. You will also provide guidance to entry-level engineers and maintain high-quality standards in client deliverables.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5 to 7 years of relevant post-education experience as an electrical engineer.
- Engineer in Training Certification.
- Proficient knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with infrastructure planning, design, and construction management.
- Ability to make technical computations and calculations.
- Project management experience with small to mid-level projects.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience working with Operations and project controls.
- Working knowledge of relevant engineering and electrical construction laws and codes.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety.
