About the Role

As a Senior Electrical Operations Engineer, you will be the electrical subject matter expert responsible for the safe and efficient operation of plant electrical systems. Your responsibilities include executing electrical projects for cost reduction and energy optimization, conducting operational assessments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, driving root-cause analysis for electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. You will also develop engineering standards, monitor performance metrics, and provide technical training to teams.

About You

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
10+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial, manufacturing, chemical, or process-driven environments.
Strong hands-on experience supporting low-, medium-, and control-voltage electrical systems.
Proven background in electrical operations, reliability engineering, and OPEX-focused initiatives.

Preferred:

Experience performing power system studies, including load calculations, short-circuit analysis, arc flash assessments, and protective device coordination.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and electrical analysis tools.
Familiarity with critical infrastructure including switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, UPS systems, backup generators, and power distribution equipment.
Working knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NETA, OSHA, NRTL, and UL standards.
